To support operations, more than 100 colleagues are working in the different staff departments at Schiphol. We have colleagues working in Human Resources, Finance, Food & Beverage, Concept & Development, Brand & Marketing and Facilities.

Food & Beverage

The Food & Beverage (Commercial) department responds to the needs of our travellers and provides sustainable solutions in collaboration with our business partners. To fulfil this promise, our Purchasers, Concept Development, Brand Management, Cost Control and Quality Control departments work closely together.

Finance

Finance department is not just about making reports and analyses. They work from budgets to cash flow management across the country to ensure that our company's financial future remains strong.

Human Resources

In addition to recruitment and on-boarding we offer extensive training and development opportunities to our associates. Our HR colleagues work to help retaining and support to our associates. Through Return on Attention we attract new talent. By being certified as a Top Employer in the Netherlands we create an engaging candidate experience for all associates so that they feel at home, valued and safe at HMSHost. We do this together with a team of HR specialists.

Facility & logistics

Our Facility and Logistics team supports and coordinates all the technical and logistics activities. From warehousing to maintenance, this is an impactful department. They successfully support our colleagues in the restaurants by providing as many guests as possible with our best food and beverages.
